Gamepad support is available in Iron Blight: it shipped October 17, 2026, after the roadmap's early-October target. The September 30 roadmap still provides the planned windows for cassette saves, multiple endings and 2027 content. Use the table to distinguish the released controller update from the next targets.

Is controller support already available?

Yes. The October 17 Gamepad Support! announcement confirms release. Install it and test menu selection, inventory, aiming, interaction and pause before a long session. The controller guide gives a symptom-based check order; the update notes record what shipped.

Does the cassette update mean Cassette Tape Mode is new?

Steam already lists Recorded for completing the campaign in Cassette Tape Mode. The roadmap names an update to cassette saves; it does not describe every change to the mode. If you are pursuing Recorded, check the achievement requirements and your selected modifiers before beginning. Keep the release that changes saves separate from the earlier achievement-award fixes.

Should you wait for multiple endings?

If you want to complete the existing story, use the current walkthrough. If your goal is to see every future branch, December is the developer's target for the update to watch. A future content announcement cannot supply unlock conditions for the current game, so keep your ending checklist tied to the release you actually install.

Source and update policy

The roadmap image and its original targets were reviewed October 9, 2026. Controller status was updated October 19, 2026 from the October 17 release announcement, using its readable SteamDB transcript. Later roadmap items retain their planned status; this review does not claim an in-game device test.
